The Author and the Book
Oluremi Obasanjo was born in Abeokuta where she received her primary and secondary school education. She later studied Institutional Management in England before embarking on a rewarding career in the hospitality industry.

 | Channels TV wins UNICEF award

The United Nations Children's Fund has named Channels Television as the winner of its 2008 International Children's Day of Broadcasting award in Nigeria.
The station's entry, “ICDB 2007 - The World We Want,” won the regional award. The station will join other regional winners from Angola, Bangladesh, Brazil, China, Germany, Ghana, Iran, Nepal, Peru and the United Arab Emirates on November 20 18 at a ceremony in New York in New York, where the final winner will be announced.

Still active in old age
Uncle Theodora (Ted) Mukoro made a great name as one of the earliest advertising practitioners in Nigeria. He also made a name as the first headmaster in the famed TV programme, “Village Headmaster”.
